What is Life Coaching?
Life coaching helps you get from where you currently are (in life, romance, career, etc), to where you would like to be.
A life coach will provide an open, collaborative space while challenging you to take an honest assessment of your values, beliefs systems, behaviors and internal narrative.
How does life coaching work?
Coaches use an individualized combination of open-ended questions, tools, and exercises to help you achieve the results you agree on. When you work 1:1 with a coach this process is catered to your specific needs.
Typically, a coach will avoid giving advice, solving problems or telling you what to do. Instead, they help you to identify and solve problems on your own.
What is mindset coaching?
Mindset coaching is a journey of self-exploration and discovery. It works on getting to the root of your beliefs, values and behaviors. We identify any blocks you may have as well as any habits that are no longer serving you. Once we get clarity on who you are, who you want to be and what is holding you back; we can implement or adjust behaviors that are better suited for you.
A mindset coach puts YOU in the driver’s seat. The goal is for you to be more comfortable with yourself, your needs and your wants. This allows you to move forward in your life with more confidence and trust in your own abilities and intuition.
How is mindset coaching different?
While each coach has a different approach and focus, life coach’s will generally focus on a specific area of your life and goals related to those areas. They will work with you to devise a plan to help you achieve or work towards those goals. A mindset coach primarily focuses on the mindset shifts needed to make a clear path towards the goals and life you want to achieve.

How is a life coach different than a therapist?
Coaching and counselling are similar in the sense that both counselors and coaches ask the client questions, sometimes requiring a lot of soul-searching. Neither a counselor nor a coach will give advice but they will listen to what you say and direct the conversation with further pertinent questions. However, whereas the typical counselling session will be dealing with emotions and issues in the past affecting the present, the coaching relationship is focused on the future and deals with optimizing the opportunities in your life for you to ultimately achieve greater happiness.
